Under the Weather

Is it because of this weekends festivities? My body is aching, I'm exhausted, my throats soar, stomach aching, and my bank account is empty.

Friday night it was the Rangers & Angels game with another attorney in the family, the less persistent one. Half the time was spent trying to make it closer to the field, and watching him get yelled at once he got caught by the ushers. Fair enough. We did pull off some pretty good seats until the bottom of the 6th. The first and third levels have a different liquor license than the second, so between all his monkey business of finding some better seats, he would decide to buy another round of beers just before we'd get kicked out of a section and have to go to a different level. Chug.

It must've been 10:30 by the time we'd walked the total opposite direction of the car and got on to I-30. We'll meet Cealliegh at the p for a drink. We end up there till 2am. I'm at this point, and as usual he is overly talkative.

Saturday morning he is driving around aimlessly, but we do manage to get a few things done. This is after driving the wrong way down a one way street in Knox-Henderson with the Jeep alarm blaring, seeming as two fugitives.
We decide to go to Gloria's on Greenville for a few drinks. A few mojitos later, his goofy business partner meets us. They are intrigued by the free car wash across the street. Girls with barely bikinis. Before we do anything else, must get the car washed. At least the scenery can keep me distracted enough from being too mad at him, making the girls wash the same spots more than once.

Then drunk suit shopping. Success! A very sharp 40$ suit for the handsome man. A few dresses and some shoes for me. The white-haired partner's wife meets us. Many mojitos later we end up at Sherlock's, where I was told I'm not allowed to drink anymore, and can't recall anything after that. I missed out on some cab-side arguing and threatening texts from the partner's wife.

Sunday morning all I wanted to do was eat. Lucky's BLT. Perfect. Back to NorthPark for Inception - my counterpart more intrigued than I - and now that The Wire is no longer... we'll have to start a new series. A lung-cancered chemist cooking crystal meth. Breaking Bad it is...
